Fashion to lust, love, and buy!

Fashion Lust

True fashion lust is seeing an item, and instantly checking ebay just in case there's a deal out there...even if there definitely isn't. My top fashion lust item for this season is definitely a cute shearling jacket. Unfortunately, the general price range for one is $300 and up, so tell me fashionistas is it really worth it? Oh, and yes that is a Crimson Tide aprroved Rag and Bone shearling jacket below. Enjoy!

Fashion Love

If you find yourself gazing at a pair of boots that are fabulous, but probably impossible to walk in, well, it might just be fashion love. That's what's going on between and the pair of military-inspired boots in my set. It's true that all of these items are affordale, but only after some intense budgeting plans. So, consider breaking out your calculators, girls, because we've only got one season, and too many cute boots to account for.

Closet-Bound Fashion

What's truly the best thing about fall fashion? For me, it's finding the best trends, sans Saks 5th Avenue prices. Each of the items listed in this set are affordable and adorable, so of course they are bound to me in my closet at some point. What items are on your closet-bound lists?

R.I.P. Alexander McQueen!

Alexander McQueen was found dead at his home on Green Street, London W1, this morning where paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. A statement released by his office on 11 February 2010 - referring to the designer by his given first name, Lee, read: "On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand, has been found dead at his home." McQueen's death came days before London Fashion Week, although McQueen was not scheduled to show in the British capital.

On 3 February 2010, he wrote on his Twitter page that his mother had died the day before, adding: "RIP mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx." Four days later he wrote that he had had an "awful week" but said "friends have been great", adding: "now i have to some how pull myself together."

So tragic! Another genius/amazing person is gone. I always loved how quirky and fun McQueen managed to be on the runway and off. He was always a breath of fresh air around stuck up fashion types. He will be missed!

Meet Anthony Williams, of Project Runway Season 7!

University of Alabama graduate, Anthony Williams, did not expect his life to change in the middle of a busy work day at Neiman Marcus, but the producers at Project Runway did.
On Thursday night, Williams took a break from his now hectic schedule to watch the latest episode of Project Runway with his fans and local media on campus at Doster Hall. Williams was born and raised in Birmingham, Ala which for local Project Runway fans was a pleasant surprise when they began watching Season 7.

Despite what viewers think of Anthony Williams all agree that his personality is not an act. As he often says, he is the same on television as he is in person. Williams’ fans at Doster and across the country continue to show their support--- and will continue to do so even after he is eliminated.
